Starting from the third trip (from 28-Jun-2015 to 3-Jul-2015) to Nepal post earthquake event, several projects were launched to cater to the needs of the earthquake victims and the underpriviledged arising from the assessment of prior two trips. This web page titled "Other Projects in Nepal" is created to distinguish it from the inaugural project - "10,000 Blankets of Love for Nepal".
Water System
TSUM VALLEY WATER SYSTEM PROJECT
This project is sponsored by Dr and Mrs. Ee and an anonymous person.
The new Water System, highlighted in red in the drawing (click on the first photo in the gallery below), comprises water storage tanks and 2 km of water-pipe to draw water from the mountain to Lamagouan and Burje villages for human and livestock consumption. The Water System, not only provides cleaner water fit for consumption, but also saves the villagers from having to walk and carry water from the river every day.
